KRC Stars

KRC Stars is a riding club for children with special needs. It provides weekly activities to children with special needs and abilities such as: Autism, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, ADHD, ADD, and learning difficulties. The instructions given within the lesson improve hand eye coordination, attention, focus, spatial awareness, posture, balance, strength and most importantly provide a sense of achievement and satisfaction. Riding also develops the children emotionally and socially by interacting with horses and the amazing volunteers that surround them.

Yasmine was born in 2014 and had speech delay with deficit in social communications and some sensory problems. She is always afraid to try new experiences and her fears never go away. We were encouraged to try with KRC who provide a wonderful opportunity to children with special needs to develop emotional and social skills, as well as improve cognitive and language skills. The result was amazing from day One. It was really a joy to see our daughter so excited when the first time she saw “sunshine” the horse…

With the support of her coach Ms Samar, Yasmine managed to get the first ride successfully without panic or fear and she was sitting up straight and relaxed .. that was unbelievable moment for us to see our daughter first time standing at high without apprehension. Each time she gone out on the horse she has been able to gain more strength and endurance and inshallah she will continue. As a family we are grateful for this opportunity for her and we look forward for every Saturday

From the moment I saw her smile on the horse and the way she looks at me from afar, my heart was overwhelmed with joy. The feelings of joy, sadness and pride filled my eyes with tears. It was the first time my daughter looked at me and I could see pure joy in her eyes.

I am Clifford’s mother. I enrolled my son in KRC Stars for the third time because I notices the changes within my son and the way he interacts with both the trainers and horses in an amazing way. This is groundbreaking for my son as he is of special needs and didn’t previously interact in such a great way. His understanding and awareness of his surroundings has improved so much after the lessons with KRC Stars. Thank you to all the members of KRC Stars for your constant support.

I am extremely happy to be a part of KRC Stars every year where I’ve found a family interested in therapeutic development for kids. My son, Mohammed, has improved physically, mentally, behaviorally, and emotionally where he is now connecting with people and animals. We are exceptionally thankful to the KRC Stars team for their care and constant perseverance in creating happiness through soul-lifting, positive activities, for both the parents and their children.
